Description
NEXUS does not view the electrification of public transport as a technical chore, but as a creative opportunity. It changes not only the drive system, but the entire logic of operation, infrastructure, and usage. This is exactly where NEXUS comes in: as a spatial, organizational, and social hub of an electrified mobility system.
The bus depot is no longer understood as a closed-off functional architecture, but as an integral part of the urban fabric. As a Decentrally organized place of energy, operation, and recreation, it connects vehicles, driving personnel, passengers, and the city. Here, energy is distributed, mobility is organized, and everyday life can be experienced – electrification becomes visible and understandable.
NEXUS translates the mutual dependencies of these actors into a clear spatial order that creates orientation, reduces stress, and simplifies processes.
