How will diabetes be treated in the future? As the number of people with diabetes continues to rise, a new awareness of the disease needs to be created. New technologies should contribute to more freedom, spontaneity and quality of life. ‘N.do’ is a type 1 diabetes wearable that combines AI-based blood glucose monitoring, insulin delivery and carbohydrate calculation. The aim is to develop a wearable that combines all the steps of therapy in one. Thanks to future technologies, the placement on the abdomen can be replaced by placement on the wrist. The use of microneedles eliminates the need for daily injections. The wearable will be recharged and refilled every 72 hours.
