‘Tunemate’ is an interactive modular product designed for young piano learners, offering an innovative piano practice experience. The design remains integrated with the physical piano and aims to increase practice motivation through a level system. By incorporating a modular design, ‘Tunemate’ enhanced engagement and playability, allowing users to customize their learning journey. One of ‘Tunemate’s’ key features is its two modes: Solo and Matching Mode. In matching mode, players can be connected remotely, fostering collaborative music-making experiences that transcend physical boundaries. In solo practice mode, ‘Tunemate’ uses an embedded hand motion capture camera to provide real-time feedback and correction, allowing users to effectively refine their technique.
