‘Mementum’ is dedicated to the systemic management of digital inheritance through a cross-platform service ecosystem. In view of rapid digitalization, managing digital legacies is becoming a societal necessity, as technocratic data deletions can hardly do justice to emotional needs in times of grief. The project organizes this multifaceted complexity at the intersection of law, technology, and human psychology. The design outcome includes a desktop portal for proactive data organization during one’s lifetime as well as the mobile app Memorial Galaxy, which transforms the grieving process into a collective experience through sensitive AI mediation and visual memory clusters. The essential value lies in closing the gap between pure data management and emotional heritage by transforming abstract data structures into a tangible, comforting symbol of human connection.
