Through extensive research and interviews, the challenges in the healthcare sector were analysed, with a focus on demographic ageing and the shortage of skilled workers. The issue of unpleasant odours in care and its connection to the topic of faeces was specifically addressed.
The developed product, AYO, is a portable air purifier that can be taken by mobile care workers into patients’ homes. Its lightweight and handy design, as well as its easy operation, are perfectly adapted to the needs of caregivers. In addition to purifying the air, AYO also allows essential oils to be dispersed into the room.
AYO improves air quality and odour in patients’ homes, contributing equally to the well-being of both caregivers and those in need of care. As a result, it enhances the image and attractiveness of the profession and services within mobile care.
