Description

The thesis explores the game Lyuma as an interactive medium for examining communication, subjective perception, and fragmented truth. At its core are the characters Lyuma, Nikolai, and Victor, who embody different perspectives on truth and reflect social and cultural issues.
By collecting tarot cards, players actively influence the interpretation of events and shape their own construction of truth. Lyuma weaves narrative game mechanics with Slavic mythology, creating an aesthetically and thematically rich experience.
The project investigates how the game reflects societal norms and makes cultural heritage accessible by using interactivity as a form of artistic expression. It demonstrates how games like Lyuma offer not only entertainment but also make complex philosophical questions about identity, truth, and communication tangible.
