Less Waste More Garment
Concept for Reduced-Waste Garment Production
Description
A major problem in the textile industry is the high amount of wasted material, which is generated during the production of garments. With the bachelor thesis "Less Waste More Garment", conventional patterns are modified and restructured in a way that allows material waste and fabric consumption to be reduced without sacrificing the desired fit of the garment. The applicability of these cutting technology measures is demonstrated by using three different garments as examples.
