Description

This project explores symbol formation through associations influencing the object-human relationship, fostering emotional bonds with objects. It aims to translate nature into designed objects through associations, as they help us understand complex environmental information more quickly.
Inspired by glaciers as dynamic systems where all forms of water coexist, the properties of water are visualized. Material, form, and light act as carriers of associations, making the characteristic properties of water tangible through their interaction. Materials are viewed as independent information carriers that engage in active dialogue with surroundings and users.
Glaciers have a special relationship with humans as freshwater reservoirs, sunlight reflectors, and unique ecosystems. The project harmoniously integrates nature into living spaces, creating an inspiring dimension in the human-object relationship.
