Description

“Info-Motion” is a research project that investigates how plant movements can be used to shape interactive feedback in order to meet the users' need for more natural and intuitive interactions. In a world where we are surrounded by digital devices whose displays are constantly flooded with distracting notifications, Info-Motion aims to improve the human-computer interaction experience by embedding physical, dynamic feedback into electronic products. This involves reproducing the status and data of everything from computers to home appliances. Through discreet, peripheral, and unobtrusive reminders, Info-Motion enables us to temporarily free ourselves from the burden of digital messages. Info motion consists of five physical objects, each of which provides two to three types of dynamic feedback and can convey contextual information. Users can interact directly with the information using gestures and touch.
