Description

HYBRID WORKFLOW deals on a conceptual level how analog and digital workflows can be linked in the design process and explores the potentials of collaborative interactions that arise from the implementation of digital technologies in the working environment of designers. More than 30 applied scenarios reveal how essential the improvement of communication possibilities between humans and machines is in order to make the opportunities between informative content and physical perception more tangible. As a foundation for hybrid workflows, a smart setup was developed to extend virtual methods by an explorative approach of hand-based expressions and perceptions in the design process. This allows to define curvature constant surfaces much more intuitively during the modeling process
