‘How-to: Designing AI Design Tools’ enables designers to develop their own AI-supported design tools. The aim is to demystify AI technologies, make them accessible to non-experts and explore the full design potential of AI.

The project serves as a ‘meta how-to’ that both explains how to create your own instructions and shows the development of the required tools. For example, there is a headline generator that can be used to generate and design headlines, a colour chat bot in which users can enter their topic and automatically generate a matching colour or a layout tool that can be used to draw up text fields based on gestures.

At the end of the publication, readers will not only be able to develop these tools independently, but also create their own how-tos to show what they have (further) developed.
