Herzenssache

Description

Herzenssache is a digital solution aimed at improving communication between cardiologists and patients. In a user-centred design process based on qualitative interviews, key challenges were identified: time constraints in medical practice, difficulties in patient understanding, and a lack of transparency. The developed concept includes two components: a physician application for the efficient recording and visualisation of medical diagnoses, diagnostic procedures, and treatment methods, and a patient application for individual post-diagnosis follow-up. Special focus is placed on intuitive user guidance, the integration of medical standards, and the development of an educational information system. The evaluation confirms: Herzenssache supports physicians in their daily work, improves patient understanding, and contributes to optimised medical communication and patient empowerment.
