‘Mehrwerk’ is an innovative concept aimed at strengthening the repair culture and fostering a vibrant community. Instead of creating another repair café, the concept focuses on connecting existing initiatives, establishing a central hub, and providing a platform for courses. The goal is to raise awareness of repair and durability and to facilitate access.
By connecting individuals, associations, schools, and universities, knowledge about repair and restoration is shared and practical assistance with individual projects is offered. The project supports the idea of a consumption-conscious space by encouraging people to rediscover the value of their existing products and to reduce consumption.
The idea could be well integrated into the hall and makes a valuable contribution to sustainability within the community.
