Hedda
Name(s) of graduate(s):Sahra Lietzkow

Description
Hedda – a piece of seating furniture in which I explore my needs for an inspiring conversation.
In my work, I examine how classism co-determines our career paths and professional decisions. I look for shared experiences and places of empowerment. Role models, networks, or mentors can often help us consider new paths for ourselves. In this context, encounters that go beyond social classes are particularly enriching for all sides. This is how Hedda was created, a modular, rocking piece of seating furniture for outdoor or indoor use. A special focus lies on the sensitive color scheme and the knotting technique of the textile seat made of paracord. Depending on the needs of the users, an individual conversation experience can be created, in which people can rock together, looking in the same or opposite directions. The steel frame can be connected in various orientations using a simple knot.
