In close cooperation with the women's meeting of "Unserhayat" in the cultural centre "Passage 13" in Halle-Neustadt, an interdisciplinary project in the fields of fashion and textile design was developed. With the aim of investigating creative processes and collaborative working methods outside the university context, a course in textile handicrafts developed parallel to the women's meeting place, which we initiated and accompanied. Here, sufficient space was always given to exchanges in order to promote inclusion through self-determined action. These conversations played a formative role in our work. They inspired us in the process of creative translation as well as the content-related examination of our position. We created spatial installations that are a hybrid between fashion, sculpture, and textile arts, and express thoughts and feelings in the form of embroidery and textile printing.
