Description

“Ha An Su Um” is a 3D-printed pillow with variable height.

“Ha An Su Um” comes from the korean word “한숨 (Hansum)”, which describes a sigh after a long day. The project aims to reduce discomfort caused by poor posture and to use sleep as recovery time for the body.

In contrast to conventional pillows with a fixed height, Ha An Su Um offers different heights in a single object. By simply turning it, the user can find the appropriate position for their head. The torus shape connects these areas into a clear and stable structure.

The object is manufactured using 3D printing and a lattice structure inspired by fluorite. This saves material while maintaining stability and good ventilation.

TPU as a material ensures flexibility, durability, and easy cleaning. Ha An Su Um thus combines technical design with functional support.
