The goal was to make access to the digital world easier for elderly people, even without technical knowledge, and to reconnect the generations.
The grandchild is traveling and grandma has no way to join? GENCONNECT makes it possible! We want to remove digital barriers and make seniors VR-ready.
GENCONNECT is a digital package for seniors, available by phone, website, or local citizen office. It includes learning strategies that use buddies to replace the missing grandchild when it comes to technology. The technology package is taught to seniors through learning games, video tutorials, or learning buddies.
The project includes a humorous promotional film, a social media campaign, a user-friendly website, background music, illustrations, and interviews with seniors.
GENCONNECT stands for inclusion and dialogue between generations.
