Description

The “Gefühlekiste” (Box of Emotions) for primary school classes contains tools for sensory perception and supports children in perceiving and regulating emotions.

Make it make SENSE. The experience of one’s own SENSES leads to the SENSE that children become more aware of their own needs and emotions in order to express them and act accordingly. The methodical process begins on the whiteboard lid: using magnets and pens, the children reflect on their state of mind before choosing a suitable tool from the box.

The central theme is the emotion animal “GeTi”: with long arms for hugging, big ears for listening, and a mouth for “eating worries”, it creates a playful approach to complex emotions.

The concept includes thematically matching worksheets for teachers and ideas on how the box can be integrated into lessons. In this way, teachers can be relieved and, in the best case, encouraged to integrate emotions into their lessons in a MEANINGFUL way.
