Description

In an increasingly digitalised and decentralised working world, project management software is changing both the way work is organised and the nature of work itself. And although it represents our cloud-based present in bright RGB colours, its interfaces contain numerous references to control techniques from past centuries.

This transformation of work organisation becomes tangible in a documentary web application that reconstructs a workflow, imitating the interface and logic of modern software applications.
Users are guided through a realistic process of onboarding, processing, and subsequent review, travelling from the factory halls of industrialisation to modern agile practices. Visual features such as timelines, Kanban boards, and retrospectives illustrate how historical methods continue to shape the coordination of our work today.
