Description
FREIDREHER is a shelving system that begins not with a fixed plan, but with a moment of exploration. Strong magnetic brackets find their place on a steel surface almost intuitively, attaching securely while remaining easy to reposition.
Layer by layer, a structure emerges that is not predetermined but evolves through use. Each element can be moved, rotated, and recombined in response to the objects it holds. The shelf is less assembled than composed. Order does not appear all at once; it develops gradually through an ongoing dialogue between hand, material, and content.
Made from translucent acrylic, the brackets give the structure a light appearance while softly revealing or concealing what lies behind them. Through rotation and reconfiguration, FREIDREHER can highlight, organize, or hide objects. In this way, building becomes part of the act of organizing itself: open, adaptable, and personal, responding to change without imposing a permanent structure.
