Changeable Objects
The Extension of the Design Process During Usage
Description
Changeable design, which is based on the possibility of individual use of products, proposes an improvisational post-production design approach. In this work, the rigid object as we know it is questioned and shows how the same materials can take on different forms and functions. By involving the users in this process, a design that can be changed in and through use becomes possible. In a world that is constantly changing, do products have to remain the same form for another 50 years? Or should they be able to adapt and change?
