Description

Echo⁺: Adaptive Interface for an Empathic Society examines how health conditions and emergencies in public spaces can be communicated more understandably. The project makes invisible body signals visible and translates them into visual, acoustic, and haptic impulses. The aim is to close the gap between individual experience and societal perception.

At the center is a wearable guidance system that detects physical changes and makes them understandable for the environment. In critical situations, an SOS balloon extends communication and conveys important first-aid information through intuitive symbols. In this way, complex health conditions are translated into clear impulses for action.

Echo⁺ combines health communication, inclusion, and systemic thinking. The work shows how design can make the invisible visible, create orientation, and translate empathy into concrete action.
