Description

“Drywall Construction” presents a series of experimental ceramic objects and an additional installation of mold paper made of recyled plasterboard paper.

All vessels emerged from an investigation of drywall panels as part of a research project on the recyclability of gypsum and its use in industrial and artistic contexts. Their dimensions and forms recall architectural and tectonic aesthetics, capturing the origin of the base material and extending toward its processing within industrial practice.

The fragments and paper pulp sheets allude to the highly manual process of drywall construction, where standardized panels are broken and assembled into walls—here reinterpreted as decorative objects that challenge the viewer’s perception and invite reflection on hidden potentials and material qualities.
