Description
Few topics currently shape the discourse as much as [the foreigners]. Our initiative sends a signal against right-wing extremism – especially now, as hate is increasingly expressed openly. At its core is a trilogy of booklets in A6 format with provocative titles. [Part 1] highlights parallels to the Nazi era, [Part 2] explores diversity and the dangers of deportation plans, [Part 3] explains right-wing language and fosters empathy. The project is complemented by a travelling container exhibition: quotes from right-wing extremists lie on the ground – quite literally to be stepped on.
The exhibition combines content from all three booklets and gives a voice to people with a migration background. Their experiences with exclusion and belonging make clear what is at stake. A folded flyer provides information about the exhibition, with its reverse side serving as a poster with an Arabic message against prejudice. The goal is to make education easily accessible – online, offline, and in our streets and public spaces.
