The “Dacia Un/fold – the Basecamp” is a concept that reclusive reidentifies the current way cars are built.

The project is aimed at the dreamers who value the beauty of everyday moments and experiences over luxury and comfort.

The idea of a “BASECAMP” that you can always rely on quickly established itself. The result is a functional, yet tangible, compact, and adventurous vehicle.

The main theme of the project is folding, a simple principle that can be found in several parts of the vehicle. By expanding its functionality and opening up to the environment, it creates the “OUTER LINK”, a connection to everything that surrounds it. However, it also allows an “INNER LINK” to be established by providing a shell that reflects the owner’s personality and values. This can partially be seen when opened from the outside, and thus the exterior merges with the interior.
