Description
This work called "da tudo." is a practice-based material research with a focus on the made and resulting experience. In design, it is primarily product designers who have begun to search for new materials and applications. In the process, new practised-based design and work processes are also emerging that enable designers to use new research methods in which it is not necessarily a matter of proving an existing thesis, but rather allowing the seeker to determine the process. This can result in multiple answers that can reveal alternatives. This material research is inspired by the idea behind the traditional Portuguese craft of basket weaving. The focus was on the use of local and plant-based materials in order to easily integrate design models such as regenerative and circular design and to test one's own ability to act as independently as possible.
