Wohnobjekte im Spiel von Licht und Schatten
Description
‘chackochan’ is the result of an in-depth exploration of Japanese culture and the influence of Japanese Buddhism and Shintoism on aesthetic perception. The design elements of light and shadow, movement, and open space between objects are combined in these pieces.
The series of three side tables is characterized, among other things, by the unique milling of the tabletops. Depending on the incidence of light and the position of the tables, different shadow patterns emerge. By rearranging the tables, the shadow patterns can be further altered.
Both the tables and the tabletops feature interruptions in relation to each other and can function individually or as a group.
