Description

‘Capsule’ is a garment storage solution designed to replace the traditional chair as a wardrobe. The concept behind ‘Capsule’ is to give clothes the respect they deserve by creating a transitional space between clean and dirty clothes. Thanks to its design, ‘Capsule’ not only provides space for clothes, but also allows you to sit on them. The tube, reminiscent of a modern laundry drum, has holes through which the materials of the clothes can be seen. This gives the object a more sculptural appearance and less of a conventional piece of furniture. The design contributes to the playful use of ‘Capsule’. The wooden block can be used upside down as a stool and the tube can be hung on the wall as a coat rack or placed next to the stool.
