CALM-A is a mobile thermal solution for the acute relief of migraine symptoms. The portable device combines active temperature control through an integrated Peltier element with passive, replaceable gel pads. This enables a targeted application to the forehead and temples – regions that are frequently affected along sensitive nerve pathways during a migraine. Depending on individual needs, cooling or heating stimuli can be used in these areas to provide targeted support during an acute migraine episode – regardless of the current location.
The compact, flat housing is securely held in position via an elastic textile band and can be flexibly adjusted to different head shapes.
The device is paired with the CALM-A app, which allows users to set their personal comfort temperature and individually control cooling and heating cycles.
