The core question of my project was whether utopia is slowly vanishing from our world and we are looking into the future with increasing pessimism. My work serves as an inspiration to develop utopias again and possibly to provide a new perspective on the topic of utopia.
A world for everyone who wishes for a better future – That is Multitopia, not a finished concept, but a collection of utopias in one place that change and expand.
A space that creates courage to develop new ideas, no matter if big or small, innovative or creative. It is about letting your thoughts run free. Multitopia makes it clear: Utopias need to be placed in a context that shows that our ideas should coexist! I started to develop this space in my project by asking people for their utopias, collecting them, and then translating them into a three-dimensional space to make them more tangible.
