BEYOND

Description

“Beyond” is a shared, autonomous vehicle concept for safe travel experiences in the future after Covid-19. It was developed based on aspects specific to design and observation of changes in people’s emotions and travel behaviours after the pandemic. It defines safety through three perspectives: sanitation, contactless travel, and relaxation. Travellers will receive travel kits at the beginning of their journey. After use, sanitation mode is activated and a contactless pickup service from their homes to the destination is provided. This completely avoids contact with unknown people. Comfortable seats and natural lighting ensure comfort when boarding. In order to store luggage, efficient storage compartments are available. Upon arrival, depending on the level of current infections at the destination, a warning message is displayed by means of light signals.
