Description
ANGRY WOMEN examines the social stigmatization and historical pathologization of female anger and at the same time shows its emancipatory potential.
Its taboos and devaluation are not individual problems, but are based on patriarchal structures. In the process, the complexity of anger is misjudged, which draws attention to existing power relations and inequalities, has a self-empowering effect, and initiates social change.
Methodically, the work combines theoretical perspectives from feminist research with the analysis of visual means of various artistic positions and social discourses. The creative stance is made tangible through deliberate rule-breaking and tensions.
