Description

What remains invisible at first glance often hides between the lines. In moments of silence, behind a smile, within the everyday life that seems entirely ordinary.

This book is a visual and conceptual exploration of depression – created as a bachelor’s thesis in graphic design. Its aim is to make visible what usually stays hidden.

Alongside an introductory text about the mental illness itself, the work includes honest and moving personal accounts from those affected. “Between the Lines of Everyday Life” is especially addressed to young people, those living with depression, and their loved ones.

It seeks to inform, to break down stigma, and to encourage – through design, language, and the power of shared experience. A quiet book about a loud truth – and a contribution to greater openness in dealing with mental health.
