The application addresses key challenges such as high production effort and the insufficient inclusion of blind perspectives in the creation process. At the core of the concept is a platform-based solution that brings together sighted authors, blind editors and speakers in a digital space. By synchronising scripts, video recordings and audio description texts, a central workspace is created that integrates all necessary tools and information.
Zebra promotes collaboration between blind and sighted users through role-specific views and screen reader-optimised interfaces.
The integration of AI tools and asynchronous collaboration between authors and editors shortens production time while improving text quality.
