It’s amazing how everything around us changes as soon as we change.  In times of crisis, education needs to be more flexible than ever in responding to disruptive change. Lifelong learning and a willingness to learn, even in adulthood, are becoming increasingly important in order to responsibly shape a socio-ecological transformation. Using secondary research (desktop and literature research) and primary research (qualitative and quantitative empirical studies), effective components of five future-oriented learning concepts were identified, compared and combined into an impact model for transformative adult education using a specially developed framework. This is done with the vision that the findings will be used in practice and at the same time continuously developed through reflective application.
