Description
Thanx is an innovative bicycle light with an integrated spacer that combines safety and positive communication in road traffic. When folded out to the left, an illuminated, replaceable graphic such as a heart, peace sign, or “Danke” appears. This allows cyclists to signal their required safety distance and show appreciation to drivers when they overtake respectfully.
The product combines soft TPU and hard PETG for flexibility and stability. Two light sources illuminate the rear light as well as the spacer and graphic. A 1500 mAh battery enables bright, USB-chargeable lighting. The prototype was manufactured entirely using 3D printing and is optimized for future injection molding production.
ThanX promotes visibility, safety, and mutual respect in road traffic.
