Description

TAYTO IS is an interactive game to promote fine motor skills in children. Fine motor deficits can significantly affect a child's daily life. To train their fine motor coordination skills, they go to occupational therapy or a physiotherapist, which involves repetitive and sometimes boring motor activities. repetitive and sometimes boring motor activities. On the other hand, game-based therapies have proven to be effective and more fun. This project offers the possibility to transform the usual physical exercises into a gesture-based game using modular modules and an iPad. The application can monitor the patient's progress while providing an interactive, multi-sensory game with visual and physical feedback. Supervised by Prof. Nils Krüger and Prof. Dr. Lucy Norris.
