We are exposed to an avalanche of influences and impressions through mainstream social media. This overstimulation, coupled with lockdown measures, made many want to protect themselves from external influences and escape into nature. The collaboration “THE NORTH FACE X GUCCI” combined these two wishes in a broad collection of accessories needed when spending time in nature. The merging of the luxury brand Gucci and the outdoor brand THE NORTH FACE resulted in the coining of the term “OUTDOOR LUXURY”. Smart “CYBERPOP” playfully picks up on many of the modern pop culture core values.
