Description

‘Sitzordnung’ is an experimental short film that explores power and its effects in a visual context. It shows how hierarchies between people gradually build up, solidify, and ultimately end in isolation and stagnation. Through the deliberate use of color, framing, and body positioning, power is not only depicted but made directly tangible.
The film asks how dominance emerges — not through obvious violence, but through small shifts in space, attention, and behavior. It also addresses how people adapt, submit, or try to resist.
Instead of a classical narrative, the film presents a dense visual language that serves as a metaphor for social structures. The project invites viewers to question familiar perspectives and raises awareness of the mechanisms of social hierarchies.
