Description

Sittago is a multifunctional seat cushion specially designed for children in forest kindergartens. It combines seating pad, bag, swing, and lying surface in a single product, encouraging free and creative play in nature.
The goal was to design a child-friendly, robust, and sustainable outdoor product that meets the high demands of everyday outdoor life.
The design is based on extensive field research, user interviews with educators, and a survey of several forest kindergartens. Its design reflects children’s curiosity, movement, and independence. The choice of materials follows circular economy principles.
Sittago is easy to transport, durable, visible, and repairable — a product that grows along with the child and promotes free play, from generation to generation.
