Description

The project ‘same streets, same sky’ visually illustrates the mechanism of escapism. The short film shows how people break out of monotonous daily routines, making unconscious behaviours visible in the process. Over the course of the plot, the protagonist develops an increasing tendency towards escapism in order to escape her monotonous life.
By using the innovative technique of Gaussian Splatting and static elements, the inertia of everyday life and distortions in perception are depicted. The film encourages reflection on one’s own escape mechanisms and their influence on the perception of reality.
