Resource Bins

Description

In today’s consumer society, our highly efficient waste management system constantly transports resources out of our sphere of influence, either to be destroyed or transformed into lower-quality materials. By handling resources in this way, we have grown accustomed to leaving the responsibility for our residual materials to others and not recognising any value in them. The “Resource Bins” are an alternative to this behaviour. They are intended to establish a direct flow of materials between households, where the waste materials accumulate, and companies, where these substances and materials can be processed into new products.
