Description
The mission of the re:lab 2.0 is to improve the flow of materials with respect to sustainability and ressource efficiency on the khb college campus by means of creative nudges. The focus of this second phase of the project, which builds on my BA thesis, was the construction of a material cube in the inner courtyard of the school, which serves as hub for the sorted storage and exchange of old materials and is itself an experiment demonstration of circular building principles. Other important components of the project were the Schrottbuffet (scrap buffet) campaign to collect local waste/material data and to involve college students and staff, as well as the creation of an official re:lab tutor position, which is dedicated to the continuation and further development of the project beyond its initial conception.
