‘Real Life Tutorial’ supports teachers in the acquisition of digital skills. It uses mixed reality to deliver knowledge and combines traditional teaching methods with digital technology. This allows teachers to gain practical experience in a supportive digital environment. At the heart of the concept are modular HoloLearn kits used in school makerspaces. Using holograms, teachers are guided step-by-step through the process of 3D printing. This allows them to learn directly on the device and from mistakes before printing. Hands-on and learning by doing. By involving teachers as active learners, the aim is not only for them to master new technologies, but also for them to develop a deeper understanding of their students’ digital world. A connection is made between the digital and real classroom environments, strengthening pedagogical practice in an innovative way.
