Description

A Dynamo bicycle light equipped with the advantages of a battery light

What is the Topic?

- Manufacture market-ready products additively - Avoidance of batteries in the sense of lithium polymer storage - Longevity - Repairable - Ecologically compatible - Easy to use

Why does it look like this?

A combination of bicycle light and flashlight is the basis of the design. The shape flatters the hand and dispenses with the usual edges and undercuts, which are required on other bicycle lights for fastening.

What is special?

The luminaire has been printed completely 3D and is recyclable and repairable in all components. The concept shows a possible application of additive manufacturing for the production of products for retail. To avoid the use of the usual LiPo battery, a capacitor was used as an energy storage device. This also allows to combine the advantages of a battery light with the Dynamo.

What is new?

Manufacture of market-ready products with 3D printers. Capacitor (ultra-cap/super-cap) as energy storage. The combination of battery light and dynamo light.
