Description
POSAMENT is seen as an opportunity to work together on a personal theme. Inspired by the old textile tradition of the hometown, a collaborative and interdisciplinary exchange between fashion and textiles is to be created.
The dialogue takes place on the one hand in reinterpreted ribbons and on the other hand in the resulting silhouettes. These deal with the inspiration of the trimmings in different ways. The two approaches, fashion and textile, then merge in the finished outfits, where the woven ribbons are either integrated directly into the garment or used as styling accessories. On the body, they then function like interior trims, decorating the original object, in this case a garment, in different ways. POSAMENT combines the themes of traditional craftsmanship, friendship, origin and collaboration.
