Social touch is an integral part of our coexistence. At times, however, comforting, pleasant touch becomes the exception, for social, cultural, personal, or health reasons. How can we deal with situations in which skin contact with another person becomes a scarce commodity, limiting not only our mental, but also our physical well-being? The result is a three-piece series of brushes. Multiple bristle combinations made from natural materials cater to different needs in intensity of sensation and offer help to anyone who might need a bit of short-term relief in a touch starved time. The gentle caress of the bristles is designed to support body sensation and promote mental and physical well-being through pleasurable self-touch, thereby celebrating it and bringing it into focus.
