In my master’s thesis, nature plays a central role. During my excursion into nature, I once again realised how complex the forms in nature truly are. It is a “brilliant designer” — nothing is left to chance. Through my research, I discovered that wave forms play a significant role in nature. Based on this realisation, I chose the wave as the defining form of my thesis.

Working with natural materials opened up many new ideas for me and allowed me to break away from traditional goldsmithing techniques. The goal of my thesis was to develop my own forms inspired by nature and to highlight an appreciation for it. The resulting jewellery pieces gently conform to the body through their flowing design language.
