Description
OБLIK is a process-oriented design project about migration, identity, and transformation. The starting point is my own migration experience since 2019. Inner states are not narrated directly but are made visible through material, form, and process. The focus is on ceramic 3D printing with the LUTUM 4.6. Clay is understood as an active dialogue partner: it reacts to pressure, cold, movement, rhythm, mixing, and manual interventions. Cracks, deformations, errors, and loss of control are consciously allowed and used as a design quality. A recurring basic shape serves as a carrier for different chapters. Through experiments with ceramics, papier-mâché, projection, sound data, and multi-material printing, objects are created that embody states such as transition, instability, waiting, resonance, and reorganization. The goal is to make migration experiential not in an explanatory way, but atmospherically and materially.
