Climate-friendly overnight travel is becoming increasingly popular. However, the offer of night trains is currently very limited and a nighttime journey with an ordinary long-distance bus is pure torture. “night:switch” exploits the enormous potential of night bus travel and offers a pleasant travel experience at any time of the day or night by combining an ordinary long-distance bus and a comfortable night bus. The concept is based on a standard double-decker bus. This type of structure makes it possible to divide individual areas into two floors according to their function. While the upper deck has spacious seating during the day, at night it transforms into a cosy rest area with comfortable sleeping berths. The lower deck, on the other hand, serves as a communication area where passengers can eat, speak, and freshen up. The long-distance bus then becomes both a place of rest and relaxation and a meeting point for cultures and generations.
